Story of Barfi

The movie goes back in 1970’s which everyone could make out just by seeing the promos of the movie. The story takes you in a hill station within India.

Barfi! is a movie about of 3 young folks who pick up that love can neither be demarcated nor can be controlled by civilization’s rules. Barfi, a.k.a Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of a boy who can neither speak nor listen. He gets in affection with Shruti. Despite of her profound fondness for Barfii, Shruti bounces back in the stress of public and parent. She, in force, marries a ‘normal’ man and spends a ‘normal’ life. Several years after their tracks yet again come across.  Barfi at that moment was in love with Jhilmil. Barfi is frantically looking for Jhilmil, who has disappeared. As soon as Shruti comes to know about the mentally-challenged ‘Jhilmil’ she feels guilty and realizes the unselfishness and the blindness of love. Shruti then helps Barfi to find Jhilmil and amid all this she apprehends that she, deep inside her heart, was still in love with Barfi.

Now the story rests on the action of Shruti as weather choses love or sacrifice.

Music of the movie has gained wide appreciation specially the second track.
